Well, hello! My name is Delina Patrice Brooks and I'm a Bay Area-bred, award-winning multi-hyphenate. I write and produce stage plays, screenplays, and songs to tell stories of bad ass women on their journeys of expansion. And, I've studied African dance and performed across the U.S., Western Europe, Guinea West Africa and the Philippines. After writing and recording music with the late Shock G of legendary hip-hop group Digital Underground, he gave me the nickname "DelinaDream". And it kinda stuck :) In 2006, I founded DelinaDream Productions, an organization committed to producing intimate, women-centered stories for theater. This evolved into independent filmmaking and soon, Hollywood! |
Later, I expanded with DelinaDream Casting Associates, an independent business that provides everyday people and career-oriented artists (primarily BIPOC and LGBTQ+) with unique, paid opportunities in the TV, Film & Commercial industry.
